The start of applications at Dyrrah City Football Academy (DCFA) is an exceptional opportunity for talented children and young people passionate about football. The selection process for registering young footballers will take place during June. The academy will officially open its doors in September, when the 2024–2025 football season begins.
Apply now through the online form and we will then inform you of all the details regarding training activities, fees, transport, etc. DCFA will offer scholarships to the most talented players or those with limited financial means.
Selection of talented players who will receive scholarships will be carried out under the supervision of Manchester City coaches. Anyone who registers with DCFA will become part of the Manchester City Football School programme. In this programme, all participants will wear the Football School’s kit and will be trained by Manchester City’s coaching staff using the club’s successful methodology.
Training by Manchester City coaches will take place twice a week, while the rest of the training programme will be delivered by the selected local staff, trained to City Football’s standards.
Registrations are open for children aged 7 to 18. The academy is based in Durrës and is part of the Durrës regional association.
Training during the first year will take place on a temporary pitch, while it is expected that, very soon, once the first phase of construction is complete, training will move to the complex being built in Durrës.
Children will be under the supervision of Manchester City coaches throughout the year, giving them a continuous opportunity to develop and improve their football skills.
