SECURITY POLICY OF DYRRAH CITY FOOTBALL ACADEMY At Dyrrah City Football Academy, following Manchester City’s standards, the protection and wellbeing of children is our top priority. We create a safe and positive environment where every child is protected through clear policies, staff training, and ongoing monitoring. Our "Safe at Dyrrah City" policy ensures that best-practice safeguarding is built into every Academy activity. Safeguarding Policy Safeguarding (the child protection policy) has three main objectives: - To ensure all players are safe and protected from harm, both on and off the pitch. This includes enforcing strict guidelines and procedures to prevent abuse, harassment, and any other form of mistreatment. - To protect through following procedures, ensuring all staff are trained and prepared to respond appropriately and sensitively to child-protection concerns. - To provide support for children and vulnerable adults (unprotected, or exposed to risk). Concerns related to children’s wellbeing must be reported immediately, regardless of perceived severity. These include, but are not limited to: physical or emotional abuse; neglect or failure to provide adequate care; sexual abuse or harassment; bullying or harassment; grooming behaviour; safety and wellbeing. Health & Safety Policy The purpose of this policy is to ensure a safe and healthy environment for everyone involved in Dyrrah City Football Academy’s activities, including players, staff, and visitors. The policy also covers: risk assessment and management; enforcement of health and safety standards; emergency protocols; handling and reporting of incidents or accidents. The health and safety policy covers all activities carried out under the Academy’s remit, including: training sessions and matches; use of permanent or temporary facilities; travel, championships, and tournaments; any other activity organized or supervised by the Academy.
