At the start of the tourist season and amid the excitement of an electric summer, in a coastal city and a location increasingly becoming a meeting point for tourists… The city of Durrës was, this June, the arena for a football celebration that brought together dozens of football talents in a festival of passion and dedication, embracing young and old alike.
For 4 days running at "Vala Park", around 300 children turned the pitch into a small "La Masia" — a farm that forged Albanian talent and drew the attention of families, casual spectators, and tourists, for those who tomorrow will be the next "Broja", the next "Strakosha" in the national team’s squad, or the next "Asani" discovered by Dyrrah City Football Fest. Children from all across Albania’s cities gathered here, sharing their love for the most beautiful game in the world — football. It was an experience full of emotion and joy, where every goal and every pass, every sprint on the green pitch or triumphant goal, created unforgettable moments for all participants.
The numbers… they matter. 45 improvised matches in 3×3 format, while 5 trophies were awarded across all age groups. 10 medals for the girls’ teams and 10 invitations to take part in the unique experience of training with Manchester City coaches.
The sparkle in the eyes of the children and parents was the most beautiful postcard of this impressive event. Passion for football not only helps children develop their physical skills, but also creates a strong sense of cooperation and friendship. By sharing their passion for the game of football, children build strong bonds and unforgettable memories. This academy is a place where talent and dedication come together to create tomorrow’s stars. But Dyrrah City Football Fest was only the beginning…
